At no point will you need to get out of your car to complete a task.
You will start at the V&A Waterfront, Battery Park, car park (no charge - see map below) and finish in the small town of Darling.
The bits in between will be found on the route info handed to you at the start.
It will help to have your trip meter set at 0000 when you start.
The Rota-Rally Roadbook will refer to certain points you'll need to confirm with your odometer reading, and the signs (see below) to know where to turn or to go straight.
The Rota-Rally Roadbook will have all the instructions: For example ‘straight on’ (SO) at the robots, take the right fork, turn left at the next crossing etc.
Along the way you will need to answer some route related questions and take some photographs (from inside your car)
In Melkbos you will need to be a Super Hero and drop off the can of food. Only one can is needed to score a point, but lots more will be welcomed.
This will be the spot to pose next to your car in your Hero outfits, dress up is not compulsory, but it will earn you points!
There will be a fun music activity sent via WhatsApp. So you need some data, and off course you may need Google - sometimes not even the cleverest music buffs know all the answers!
The finish line will be in Darling, here you must hand in your completed questionnaire and WhatsApp your photos to the number on your questionaire.
That’s it!! Then you are free to explore the town and its wonderful restaurants, all have outdoor seating areas.
