Fatima Davids, founder of Corpchem (Pty) Ltd, one of our 2022 entrepreneurs, paid forward on Thursday, 7 September 2023 by sharing her path to launching her business with 80 students studying NQF 2 Wholesale and Retail and the NQF 4 New Venture Creation courses.
The talk encouraged students and gave them the motivation to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. Following the talk, students provided input, expressing their admiration for someone who overcame adversity and found a way forward. Some students commented, “If she can do it , so can I.”
Students will refine and test their own business concepts in their local communities over the next few weeks, operating on weekends or after school. We will host a second session on “Implementing Your Business Idea and Setting Up Your Business” on September 20, 2023, from 12h00 to 13h00.
