launch of the preserving the Cape Floral kingdom project

The Rotary Club of Waterfront will be facilitating the launch of the Preservation of the Cape Floral Kingdom Project – a collaboration on a Global Grant project between the RC of Waterfront, the Rotary Club of St Catherine’s and the Sugarbird Trust. The  Devil’s Peak Team will demonstrate the important work they do clearing alien vegetation, to promote growth of indigenous species.  See poster below – RSVP attendance June Webber by 25 April.  Please try and attend to support especially Ralph Roseman, who worked tirelessly to get this Global Grant project, off the ground and approved.

Directions: Drive passed the Cable Station on Table Mountain to the end of the road. Park at the boom. A short walk will bring you to the launch site which will be branded. Comfortable shoes suggested. Launch and demo will take approximately one and a half hours. If you can help Otto Beyers with the set up (gazebo, feather flags et al), please call him urgently.
