On Saturday, 28th October the Rotaract Club of Waterfront hosted a professional development workshop, focusing on leveraging relationships & networks. The workshop received an outstanding response from interact clubs. As a result we had over 50 interactors from the following clubs (Steenberg, LEAP science & math school, Trafalgar High, Cedar High / Mitchell’s Plain, St Josephs, Groote Schuur High, Athlone) along with 2 more Rotaract clubs (Mitchell’s Plain & Hout Bay) as well as the DG’s Assistant, Justin also joined us at the workshop to motivate these young leaders.
The workshop was facilitated by Jerome O’Ryan who did a really great job keeping the young people engaged & continued to match the energy in the room. (Report – President Ma-eesha Innocent)
Three members were present at the End Polio Warriors Gala which took place at the Vida Nova Retreat and WOW, these ladies looked absolutely amazing. A very big thank you to our members who contributed towards the success of this very important cause.
