On Friday, 1 December 2023, the Salesians Institute Youth Projects hosted the graduation ceremony for the Year 4 learners. The event was attended by parents, collaborative partners of the Learn to Live School of Skills, teachers, and management staff of learners. 
 
The Rotary Club of Waterfront’s president was invited as a guest speaker, and it was an honour for the Club to receive the invitation. These Year 4 learners have shown great strength by overcoming the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, which disrupted education across many schools, colleges, and universities. 
 
The graduates from Salesians received certificates that highlighted their soft skills and digital literacy skills, which will be valuable in their next phase of life as they enter the workforce and adolescence.  Mr Adams, one of the learners’ parents, personally thanked the Rotary Club of Waterfront for the work and support provided by the Yes I Can programme, which brought about a positive change in his daughter’s behaviour. 
 
29 Year 4 learners graduated, and they should be proud of their achievements. Well done!
