Stitch Ahead Cohort Graduation – 5 November

The 15 students from the Salesian Institute Youth Projects’ Stitch Ahead programme all graduated with their SETA accreditation on November 5th – 8 of the graduates have already been placed into 12 months of stipended learnership with PEPCLO. The ladies showcased their products they had spent a month in the Incubation Lab creating and there was a strong flare for Traditional Wear in this cohort. Determined to also give back and not just receive, the students made cot comforters for the Christine Revell Children’s Home and some ladies skirts and T shirts for the Learn to Live School of Skills – a perfect example of Salesian programmes supporting each other.
