A New Chapter Begins: DG Pam Rawbone Assumes District 9350 Leadership
We warmly welcome District Governor Pam Rawbone and her supportive husband Dave to lead District 9350 in the next 365 days. “The Magic of Rotary” in the 2024-2025 RY was the last presidential theme, as Rotary International decided to discontinue the practice after 2025.
Uniting for Impact: District 9350’s Forward Vision
Traditionally, the Rotary annual theme has always been inspirational to spur Rotarians on. With this tradition falling away, let’s join together under the banner UNITE FOR GOOD and D9350 Act4Impact to create lasting change in our communities and in the World.
Celebrating DG Pam’s Rotary Journey & Achievements
Sharing the post below from the RC of Bellville’s Fb post on 1 July – there will be lots of fun, laughter and hard work in the year ahead with DG Pam and her team.

Today is a HUGE day for Rotary District 9350 and especially for our incredible club member, Pam Rawbone! 🎉
We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Pam is officially stepping into her role as District Governor for Rotary District 9350! This means she’ll be leading all of Rotary’s efforts across the entire Western Cape, Northern Cape, Namibia, and Angola for the next 12 months. What an amazing achievement!
A Legacy of Service: DG Pam’s Rotary Credentials
Pam’s journey with Rotary is truly inspiring. She’s been a dedicated Rotarian since 2013, serving in so many vital roles within our club and beyond. From leading as our club President for three years to advocating for youth empowerment through the Rotary Youth Exchange Programme (a cause so close to her heart!), Pam represents what it means to serve. Her unwavering commitment, impactful leadership, and deep passion for making a difference are legendary.
Beyond Rotary: DG Pam’s Community Commitment
Beyond Rotary, Pam is a former high school teacher and has even served on the board of Karl Bremer Hospital. And if that wasn’t enough, she’s a proud Durbanville resident, married to fellow Rotarian David for 48 years, and a loving mom and grandmother!
“The RC of Waterfront wishes DG Pam Rawbone every success for the year ahead. RC Waterfront is proud that President Tony’s induction was her first club visit since taking office!”
