Stitch Ahead Celebrates Its First Creative Cape Expo 2026!

Stitch Ahead’s first Creative Cape Expo for 2026 graduation on 29 May at Salesians was well supported – attended by Piet, Ralph, Spiro, Nadene, Mymoena, June, David and Lorna Bradley. Piet Postema left laden with items  made for the children at CRCH. 15 cohorts graduated with SETA certification, a proud moment especially for parents who proudly joined their sons and daughters, reflected in the pics below.🧵🪡🧶✂️

The learners have progressed from producing bags to creating garments and practical production items, reflecting the programme’s continued growth in skills development and employability. Production of 100 Dignity Packs is currently underway, with discussions taking place around developing a kit for the Marimba Band in due course.Nadene, Ralph and June came way with purchased items, delighted at their worthy spend.👏👏👏

Piet barely coping, laden with the abundant items made by the cohorts for the Christine Revell Children’s Home. A wonderful gesture! Thank you.

Not only have these young folks learnt skills to generate income, they have made their parents and family so proud of their achievement!

couple of cohorts. 🧵🪡🧶✂️
