Exciting Selection Day at Trafalgar High School
Wednesday, 9 May was an exciting day when Waterfront Rotary members assisted identify two fortunate learners to attend the Adventure into Citizenship 2024 Programme to take place in June. Trafalgar High School was founded in 1912 with Harold Cressy as its first headmaster. It has a very rich history and has educated many famous people which is well worth reading up about! The Rotary Club of Waterfront (RCW) has had an active Interact Club at the school since November 2013, except for the COVID years. This selection process was an exciting opportunity for the school and RCW to re-connect, in particular, to strengthen RCW’s youth programmes.

Mr Masimila, himself a former Interactor, has become the teacher who is the champion to get the club back on track. On a recent visit to the school, we met up with him and the two Interact Grade 12 members that have been selected to attend the Adventure into Citizenship 2024 programme, an incredible growth opportunities for these two young learners.
