The Rotary Club of Stellenbosch recently hosted an inspiring Zoom session with Rotary Peace Fellow Zaliha Abdulhamid Lawal, supported by ACCORD’s Karishma Rajoo. Attended by D9350 leadership—DG Pam Rawbone, PDGs Ann Wright and June Webber, Assistant Governor Mymoena Ismail, and Hamilton Zwane (RCW Peace Committee Member)—the session highlighted the transformative power of education, dialogue, and collaboration in advancing peace. 
 
Members left energised and motivated to support The Rotary Foundation, helping young leaders access Peace Fellowships and make a global impact. Zaliha’s plans to establish a peacebuilding organisation in South Africa sparked meaningful discussion on promoting these opportunities locally.
