Night at the Proms: A Resounding Success in Raising Funds for Rotary

Rotary Fundraising Events: A District-Wide Tradition

Every year Rotary Clubs throughout District 9350 hold events to raise funds for their projects. The Rotary Club of Wynberg’s annual fundraising event, the “Night at the Proms” is an absolute winner, in fact seats are sold out soon after the event. Like the Waterfront Canal Challenge, this is another fundraising event held in collaboration with the City of Cape Town.

The Annual Triumph: Night at the Proms

The Last Night of the Proms was first presented by the Rotary Club of Wynberg at the City Hall of Cape Town in 1986 as a charity event. Capetonians and visiting Promenaders now regard the Proms as an annual musical highlight in this city, and public support has been overwhelming and generous.

A Historic Partnership: Rotary Club of Wynberg and the City of Cape Town

The dual objectives of promoting the enjoyment of glorious music and making significant charitable contributions are being fulfilled with great success. It is also a wonderful partnership between the RC of Wynberg and the City of Cape Town.
