Rotary Club of Durbanville Induction Ticked all The Boxes!

The induction breakfast for President Gordon Millar of the RC of Durbanville on Saturday 13 July was a blast! Rotarians came together for breakfast at Kelvin Grove Club braving the inclement weather and flooding in Cape Town to experience the warmth, fun and fellowship of the Rotary Family! Eight crew from Waterfront Rotary attended to support Gordon, a charter member of Waterfront Rotary and then a member of RCW for many years. The event was brilliantly organised, ticking all the boxes with superb branding organised by Carol (Gordon’s wife, also a Rotarian). It was a magical memorable morning! Despite the wet and cold, everyone arrived safely. We wish President Gordon and all the members of the RC of Durbanville, a magical year!

A message to President Gordon from our Charter President Thomas Graham was read out on Saturday: “Gordon & Carol we wish you well as you take the reins to lead the Durbanville Rotary Club into another year. Your apprenticeship is over. Like a well trained, thoroughbred racehorse, go the distance, and celebrate your victories along the way. All success to you and the club.” 👏🏻🏆
