Since becoming a Peacebuilder Club, we have committed to adhering to the standards set out by the Rotary Action Group for Peace (RAGFP). As part of this journey, we have also set a few modest goals to guide our efforts in advancing peace and conflict resolution.” ~Siham Boda
In the presentation Siham and Hamilton reaffirmed our dedication to bridging divides, reducing polarisation, and strengthening communities through impactful Rotary projects.

Key highlights of the presentation included:
- RAGFP Peacebuilder Club Standards – The importance of aligning with Rotary International’s peace and conflict prevention initiatives.
- Our Club’s Goals – A reflection on the objectives we have set as a Peacebuilder Club.
- IEP Course Summary – Siham and Hamilton completed the required Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) training and shared key insights with members.
- Primer on Peacebuilding – In preparation for the meeting, all members received Your Piece of Peace – A Peacebuilding Primer for Rotarians to familiarize themselves with peacebuilding principles.
- History of Peace – A look at key moments in peace history.
- Negative vs. Positive Peace – Understanding the difference and why it matters.

Siham concluded with suggesting that if there is one thing we should do with our lives, that is focus on peacebulding. A comment from the floor – “stop watching the news”! Big thanks to Siham and Hamilton for a thought provoking presentation. 🙏🕊️
