Stationery Packs Donated to Cape Town Youth in Dec 2024 Initiative

Below – Captain Mymoena, Nadene Rolston with Alicia Rhoda of the Cape Town Multi Service Centre at the hand over of stationary packs on Friday, 12 December 2024, gratefully received by the learners.

Mymoena and Nadene delivered 30 school stationary packs (25 primary school/ 4 high school / 1 foundation recipient) to the Cape Town Multi Service Centre.  They were busy putting up Christmas decorations when we arrived and were so happy to meet us and receive their packs.

This is a home for 30 boys aged between 7 and 16 years. The organisation started in 2007 and is registered with the Department of Social Development. These boys come from disadvantaged backgrounds and have been exposed to abuse, neglect and abandonment on different levels. They are drawn into the social illness of the society by choosing the wrong friends and do not have the family support they need at this young age. The home is in need of mentors for the boys as they did not grow up with positive role models. Maybe an opportunity for some club members.

Siyakhanyisa ECD also received stationary packs from RC Waterfront for the important pivotal role they play in early childhood education, nurturing young minds during their most formative years.👏👏👏
